Starptautiskā VRG konferencē 2012.gada 24. - 27.maijam Lietuvā piedalījās arī pārstāvji no Latvijas - Vietējās rīcības grupas (VRG) "Stopiņi-Salaspils partnerība" biedrības: - BUMMS pārstāve Anita Vilerte, - SOCINTEGRA pārstāve Marija Kožarina, - REĀLS PIEDZĪVOJUMS pārstāve Irina Gorohova, - kopā ar CARNIKAVAS NOVADA biedrības SERNIKON pārstāvi Mārīti un LAUKU FORUMA pārstāvi Zandu Dimantu, veidojot Latvijas pārstāvju grupu.
Pasākumā ieguvām nenovērtējamu pieredzi, piedalījāmies starptautiskā konferencē, kuras ietvaros vairāku valstu pārstāvji stāstīja savu pieredzi starptautisku un arī vietējas nozīmes projektu īstenošanā. Uzzinājām kā meklēt sadarbības partnerus Eiropā. Devāmies ekskursijā pa Lietuvu uz vietām, kur jau ir veiksmīgi īstenoti LEADER projekti. Piedalījāmies arī starptautiskā VRG gadatirgū Raudones pils svētku ietvaros, kur meklējām jaunus kontaktus starptautisku projektu organizēšanai LEADER programmā.

....................................................................................... Pasākuma apraksts angļu valodā: An International LAGs fair is being held in Lithuana between 24th and 27th May. Those invited to attend are National Rural Network representatives and up to three members of two LAGs from your country. Day 1 Meeting of EU Member States' National Rural Networks and LAGs. An international conference will be held in the first part of the programme. The second part is designed to share best practices and to introduce Lithuania's successfully implemented national projects. Day 2 The second day will include an International LAG Fair, involving many of Lithuania's 51 LAGs. The aim of the fair is to strenthen and develop international collaborative links and share ideas and best practices. Guests of the fair are welcome to include a presentation or workshop on the work carried out in their country. A full copy of the programme and relevant application forms are available here.
The main aims of the event are to showcase the work carried out by local LAGs and will include visits and presentations on farms and rural tourism, traditional handicrafts and culinary heritage. As well as being able to learn more about Lithuania and the work that the LAGs do there, it is also being billed as an excellent chance for trans-European LAGs to meet each other, network and share their experiences.
